About our Clinical Director:
Dr. Adewale is a dual board certified Family Nurse Practitioner and public health leader with nearly two decades of clinical and academic experience across diverse healthcare sectors. As the Founder and Clinical Director of Urbane Care NP, she brings a passion for transforming healthcare through prevention, patient empowerment, and a team-based approach to personalized care. Dr. Adewale holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Wilmington University, a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Walden University, and both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Nursing from Rutgers University. Her multidisciplinary training informs her integrative approach to care, especially in obesity medicine, chronic disease prevention, and wellness. As an active member of the Obesity Medicine Association, she continually advances her knowledge in areas such as pharmacotherapy, metabolic health optimization, and behavior-based interventions. This commitment ensures Urbane Care NP remains at the forefront of evidence-based, safe, and compassionate obesity treatment. Beyond clinical care, Dr. Adewale contributes to the advancement of healthcare through research and quality improvement. She has authored and co-authored academic posters presented at national conferences and is actively engaged in the professional development of future clinicians as an educator, mentor, and peer reviewer.
